Disability is NOT a tragedy, failing to give ON-TIME access to Health and Rehabilitation is the tragedy

DRET's vision of success entails a society that is just and inclusive. This is only possible when; stakeholders become strategic, intentional and consistence in disability mainstreaming, Persons with Disabilities, their families and Organizations of/for PWDs challenge the structural and systemic barriers that hinder the realization of the human rights of PWDs. To realize this, DRET works effectively and impactfully to ensure that:
  1. The Constitution and legislative frameworks on disability Rights are fully implemented.
  2. PWDs, their families and the citizenry are empowered for independence, promote and defend the rights of PWDs.
  3. PWDs Rights and Participation becomes part of the counties’ ‘priority agenda.
  4. The human rights violations, stigma and exclusion of PWDs and their families significantly declined.
  5. Remove barriers and build inclusive communities where young persons with disabilities thrive.
  6. DRET is well managed to effectively realize this strategy.
