Capacity Building & Empowerment Program
This program enhances the capacity of Persons with Disabilities, Intersex Persons, their caregivers, duty bearers and community leaders on different aspects relating to PWDs and IPs.
Dretust Programs:
The program carries out advocacy and awareness programs through developing and disseminating Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Materials, community outreach programs, mainstream and social media campaigns and bi-annual “psycho-legal” clinic. The program empowers PWDs, IPs and their caregivers on their reproductive health rights.
Through this program, the organization sources for and facilitates assistive devices to PWDs to improve their coping mechanisms and self-care, facilitates through partnerships life-skills and income generating skills (IGS) to promote independence and advocates for disability mainstreaming and marking key events in the disability calendar.
