Lilian is Disability Rights and Empowerment Trust Board Assistant Secretary and is responsible for governance and Compliance, coordinating all meetings, Communication Liaison, Records Management, Strategic and Policy Support as well as Risk Management and Ethics.
Ms. Amusolo has experience and expertise in Mental Health & Psychosocial Support, Trauma Counseling & Crisis Intervention, Disability Rights & Advocacy, Community Development & Social Protection, and Program Coordination.
She has 18 years of experience as a mental health practitioner and a human right defender. Currently, she is a Director of Priliam Counselling Services and a programs consultant at Shield for Justice Foundation. Previously, she served as Psycho-social Support Staff at Kenya Human Rights Commission, Counselling psychologist at Independent Medico Legal Unit (IMLU) and Mentor at Arise Learning Center (Youth Empowerment).
Ms. Amusolo is also a member of Kenya Counselors and Psychologists Association (KCPA) and Counselors and Psychologist Board, Kenya.
Professionally, Ms. Amusolo holds Bachelor Degree in Counselling Psychology from Egerton University, Higher Diploma in Medical Health & Psychology Counseling from Kenya Institute of Professional Counseling Supervision & Trauma-Informed Care Training. And a short course Certificate in Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT)
