Bernice is an independent Coach, Writer, Human Resource Leader, Certified Mediator, Consultant Trainer, Mentor, and the Founder and Managing Director of Solution Finders Development Centre Ltd – Human Resource and management consulting company that works with multiple organizations under the company mantra: Impacting People Creating Change!
Bernice holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration - Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Arts Degree – Social Work, Certificate in Industrial Relations (IHRM), Erickson Accredited Coach(Erickson Coaching International), Certified Professional Mediator (MTI EA Int’l), and member of Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, Management and Project Management Certifications, and a Certified Human Resource Professional certificate.
As a seasoned and Certified Human Resource Practitioner, Bernice has many years of work experience in Human Resource Management at senior leadership levels across large non- for-profit organizations, private companies and government sector. Her experience spans ten countries across Africa region (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, South Africa, Gabon, Angola, Malawi, Rwanda and South Sudan), interfacing with multiple donors from US and UK. Some of the organizations she worked with includes: The Nature Conservancy – Africa region, Grameen Foundation – Africa region, FHI 360- Africa region, Academy for Educational Development – Africa region, John Snow In- Kenya program, INVESCO assurance Company, Ministry of Health.
Bernice leverages her skills as accredited professional coach to work with her clients to impact their potential in professional career goals, business goals, and personal branding and wellness. Currently her clientele portfolio is drawn mainly from East and West Africa; but keen to expand her coaching practice.
As a Trustee with Disability Rights and Empowerment Trust, she chairs the HR & Administrative Committee and leverages her expansive professional skills to impact the organization’s strategy and general wellbeing.
Being devoted to her faith and firm believer in Christ Jesus, she serves as the Chairperson of the Missions Department with AIC Donholm Chapter where she participates in other church activities.
